Brief
Mosara Academy teaches complete beginners to make their own clothes: fourteen hands-on classes, from a first stitch on an industrial machine to costing and selling a garment. It needed a name to stand behind, a way to sign students up, and everything to open its doors for the first intake.
Approach
We built the identity from the tools of the trade. The mark is a pair of bodice pattern blocks; the crest pairs a pin and needle with a laurel and a button; dashed stitch lines and pattern-drafting arrows run through every piece. A heavy grotesque wordmark carries the everyday work and an engraved serif carries the ceremony, in a deep tailoring green with cream and a tape-measure yellow.
Outcome
One system across a full stationery suite, a social launch campaign and a website where students choose an intake and register online. The academy opened with an Open Day on 10 October 2026, with the first intake starting on 5 November.
Identity
A wordmark, a pattern-block mark, a full crest and a seal, each drawn for green and for cream.
Stationery
Certificates, letterhead, cards and student IDs, so every document a student holds carries the academy.
Social & launch
A launch campaign for the Open Day, the course outline, the academic calendar and the teaching team.
Website
mosara.academy: the course class by class, intakes and times, the teachers, and online registration.
