Asmallstudiothatmovesfast.

Substance is a brand design studio in Johannesburg. We design identities, websites, apparel and campaigns for brands across many industries, and stay on as their design department through monthly retainers.

We keep the studio light on purpose. That means clear prices, written briefs and fast turnaround, rather than long meetings.

How we work

• Month to month. Cancel by email before month end.
• Fees due on the 1st, by same-day (RTC) bank transfer.
• Briefs by email. WhatsApp text for quick corrections. No voice notes.
• Delivery counted in business days, from a complete brief.
• Third-party costs (printing, hosting, domains, stock, fonts) paid by the client.
